Unmelt No. 07 suspends six resin popsicles within a clear acrylic frame, holding each form in stillness. Unlike the expressive saturation of Lush Melt, the Unmelt series leans into restraint — softer transitions, subtle translucency, and quiet spacing.
Each popsicle is individually hand-poured in layered resin to achieve internal depth and tonal shift. The colors remain luminous, but controlled. Suspended behind clear acrylic with exposed hardware, the composition feels architectural and precise.
The transparency of the frame allows light to pass through and around the forms, creating shadow and glow depending on placement. The work reads less like nostalgia and more like preservation, a familiar object paused in time.
