Tablets No. 02 is a 9x9 shadow box wall piece featuring two resin pharmaceutical objects side by side: a pink speckled Chill Pill tablet stamped 20mg and a neon green Aspirin round. The speckled texture on the Chill Pill happened organically in the casting process and ended up looking exactly like the compressed powder texture of a real tablet. Art imitating life imitating art.
Together they read like a tiny pharmacy counter and a serious piece of pop art at the same time.
